We New Bombay Keraleeya Samaj, a Socio-Cultural and Charitiable Oraganisation living very close to the heart of the society, felt the need of the public is a natural way of Treatment Centre and the revelation resulted in to our collaboration with " OUSHADI" (A Govt of Kerala Undertaking) and manufacturers of 600 plus Ayurvedic Medicines.
OUSHADI started way back in 1940 by erstwhile Maharaja of Cochin which was later transformed it into a corporation by the Kerala State Government under the brand name "OUSHADI". The factory in Kerala produces range of 600 plus products following tradition and most modern technologies. Quality control in every processing stages, most modern R&D wing and herbariums for rare medicinal plants are some of specialties of "OUSHADI".
As per Ayurveda, diseases are caused due to imbalance of three functional forces of human body. This is reflected in the way medicines are prepared and administered.
Ayurveda literally means the science of life, which gives wholesome care for health and cure for diseases. It logically regulates our diet and activities to provide holistic health care. Ayurveda also tunes our minds for correct thought to eliminate mental pollutant. It also stimulates ethical norms for social well being. Thus Ayurveda attempts o normalize all dimensions of life to ensure free flow of line. This uniqueness of Ayurved renders it as a status higher than that of a medical science and we prefer to state that Ayurveda is a way of life rather than a treatment system.
